CUSTOMIZATION

Give the bot a tailored identity in every server you run

Set Aurora's display name, bio, avatar, and banner per server so it reads as part of each community rather than a generic third-party bot. Operators control the whole profile from the dashboard, with a live Discord-style preview and no code changes or redeploys.

One bot, a distinct face per community

Run separate branding for each product, game, or region without standing up extra bot accounts or workarounds. Server overrides inherit a global preset, so shared identity stays consistent and only the differences need attention.

Native presence lifts trust and onboarding

New members meet a profile that carries the community's name, voice, and artwork. The bot feels integrated from the first interaction instead of a bolt-on tool, raising perceived legitimacy.

Self-serve control, no engineering loop

Community managers change name, bio, avatar, and banner from the dashboard and ship instantly. No tickets to engineering, no redeploys, no waiting on a release window to refresh a profile.

HOW IT WORKS

From global preset to per-server identity in three steps

01

Start from the global preset

Every server inherits Aurora's global identity by default. Keep the preset wherever shared branding is fine, and override only the servers that need a distinct face.

02

Customize for this server

Switch to custom mode and set the display name, bio, avatar URL, and banner URL. Blank fields fall back to the global preset automatically, so partial overrides are safe.

03

Preview, then save

Watch the live Discord-style profile card update as you edit, with a pulse on each changed element. Save once and the new identity applies to this server only.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Built for operators managing identity at scale

Global preset toggle

Switch a server between inheriting the global identity and running its own override. Fields disable cleanly in preset mode, so there is no ambiguity about what is active.

Live Discord-style preview

A profile card mirrors how members see the bot: banner, avatar, name badge, and About Me, with a fallback initial and gradient when an image fails to load.

Name, bio, avatar, banner

Set a display name up to 32 characters, a bio for the About Me section, and avatar and banner artwork via HTTPS or data image URLs, all validated on save.

Automatic fallback

Effective values resolve from server overrides first and fall back to the global preset when a field is blank, so a server is never left with a half-empty profile.

Unsaved-changes guard

Edits are tracked as dirty state, and a banner plus dialog prompt to save or reset before navigating away, so no in-progress profile change is lost.

Server-scoped persistence

Global and per-server profiles are stored as separate records and cached briefly to cut API calls, so each community's identity stays isolated and fast to load.
